Whether a community, a company, a cooperative, a village, or a DAO, we invite all organisations formal and informal wanting to engage in the regenerative movement to gather in celebration, dialogue and mutual support, to playfully connect, inspire, cross-pollinate, dance and learn.
We embrace a wide understanding of regeneration applied to how we live and create. A regenerative mindset for work, health, spirituality, home, neighbourhood and bioregion.

to create a camp at the 2022 Gathering of Tribes: express your culture, vision, ethos and aesthetics. Share your dreams, questions and worries through music, play, workshops, seminars, art, food and dance.
Come to cross-pollinate to connect with the regenerative movement, to find people for your team, company or community, share your questions, your knowledge, and create connections for collaboration, partnership, support and work.
We invite European, Portuguese, Iberian and global regenerative tribes to come to celebrate and grow the regenerative movement!

Inspired by unconferences, ancient tribal gatherings, burningman, and trade shows, The Gathering of Tribes is an open space for playful co-creation.
Rather than and limit creativity through a top-down mandated programme, we invite you to build a camp and share whatever experiences and activities you feel called to share.
The Gathering organisers can support your camp in ideating your programme as well as experience or workshop design.
What activities can you share?
Share, anything that enables you to show and explore why, who, how and what your tribe is about, share questions as much as answers, ask for help, as well as offering it.
Design sessions to connect you with people, partners, ideas, questions and answers. Share your practices, throw a party, Make it meaningful to your tribe.

What is a camp?
A camp is a tribe’s temporary home for the event, a place to sleep, to eat, to relax, to meet, as well a place to host activities & events.
Usually camps share a kitchen and eat together, some even share food with others.
Note: Each camp self-funds, raising a shared budget for it’s camp needs.
The Gathering organisers will help you plan, organise and launch your camp.
Every moment matters and every contribution is important.
The Gathering of Tribes is a “No Spectators” event
every participant is a co-creator.
Contribute how you can,
be present, come to play.
Whether building a camp, giving a workshop, engaging in deep dialogue, sharing your needs or hugs or gratitude, your every contribution is welcome, we create this gathering together.

The world is at the cusp of a great change, so many are working to create a new society, a new relationship to the earth, but our efforts are fragmented, we are divided, the Gathering of Tribes hopes to bring together everyone who believes in a regenerative future, strengthening our movement through celebration, connection, sharing and learning.
Gathering of Tribes is a space for meaningful dialogue and playful collaboration. A place and time for regenerative changemakers to come together to connect, get re-energised and launch collaborations.
About re:build
As re:build we have a large following (1,000+ mailing list, 150+ partners) and experience organising large online events (600 participants) as well as in-person events (~100 participants – Portugal 2021, Costa Rica & Netherlands 2022).
With the Gathering of Tribes we aim to gather at least 20 tribes, and 500 participants.
Our skills is in bringing people together rather than creating infrastructure for physical events, we are looking for a partner who can take care of on-the-ground logistics for this event, with the eye to creating an event which will over the years, grow quite large.
Gathering of Tribes is a space for meaningful dialogue and playful collaboration. A place and time for regenerative changemakers to come together to connect, get re-energised and launch collaborations.
